Terms and Conditions for Use of the TI&Associates Virtual Meeting Module
The First Party: Turunga Ithagi & Associates
Definitions:
1. Application: Refers to the Turunga Ithagi & Associates Virtual Meeting Module integrated with Google Meet.
2. The User: Refers to any person who subscribes to the Virtual Meeting Module to obtain legal services.
3. Legal Service: Refers to the services provided by the First Party through the Virtual Meeting Module with the audiovisual calling feature for the benefit of users, with the First Party responsible for the quality of the service.
First: How to Use the Turunga Ithagi & Associates Virtual Meeting Module
The Turunga Ithagi & Associates Virtual Meeting Module is a platform that enables users to obtain legal services via video and audio communication directly through the integrated Google Meet feature.
Users can view a list of their previous reservations made through the Virtual Meeting Module. In the event of any issues executing the reservation, users may contact us via email or through the call center service.
The Virtual Meeting Module provides integrated legal services through an elite group of lawyers registered with the Kenya Bar Association via the video and audio communication service powered by Google Meet.
Preamble:
The First Party owns the Turunga Ithagi & Associates Virtual Meeting Module, which comprises an elite group of male and female lawyers specializing in various branches of law. Through this platform, they provide legal services to application users through video and audio communication, offering legal advice for a fee determined by the First Party, a registered lawyer with the Kenya Bar Association.
Article 1: Provision of Legal Advice
The First Party shall take necessary care to provide legal advice to The Users of the Virtual Meeting Module and is legally responsible for the advice provided. The First Party is also committed to maintaining the confidentiality of users in accordance with the professional code of conduct.
Article 2: Organizing The Users’ Appointments
The First Party shall organize its appointment schedule with users through the Virtual Meeting Module as deemed appropriate. Consultations are provided via video and audio communication at the specified time. If the First Party fails to appear at the specified time or if a consultation is canceled less than 24 hours before its scheduled time, The User has the right to recover the full consultation fee within 14 working days or request a rescheduled appointment through customer service.
In the event of a disconnection, the First Party shall reconnect with The User to complete the remaining time of the consultation. If The User fails to respond during the remaining time due to reasons attributable to them, the First Party shall be deemed to have fulfilled its obligation.
Article 3: Use of Google Meet
The User agrees to the use of Google Meet as the primary platform for video and audio communication. The First Party does not own or control Google Meet and is not responsible for any technical issues or data breaches related to its use. The User acknowledges that by using Google Meet, they agree to the terms and conditions of Google Meet as set forth by Google.
Article 4: Confidentiality and Data Protection
The First Party is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all information exchanged during consultations. The User is also responsible for maintaining the security of their Google Meet credentials and any other personal information shared during the consultation.
Article 5: Amendments to Terms and Conditions
The First Party reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions by providing notice to The User. Continued use of the Virtual Meeting Module after notification shall constitute acceptance of these amendments.
Article 6: Electronic Correspondence
Electronic correspondence sent to the email address provided by The User at the time of registration shall be considered authentic and valid in accordance with Law number (20) of 2014 regarding electronic transactions.
Article 7: Jurisdiction
The parties agree that any dispute arising from the interpretation, implementation, or cancellation of this contract shall be adjudicated by the Kenya judiciary.
Article 8: Acceptance of Terms
By using the Virtual Meeting Module, The User agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
